Welcome!
DOGS OF THE MONTH - Dino & Lexi
See the videos - understand the breed!

Scottish Staffordshire Bull Terrier Rescue is an entirely voluntary organisation, totally
dependent on donations and fundraising efforts. Please note that we do this work on a voluntary basis and we do not have kennelling facitlities to take your dog to. We are not a centre therefore we do not have somewhere where you can come to view dogs for adoption. We do this from our own homes. We try our best so please be patient with us! Thank you.
The Original Scottish Staffie Rescue, which is affiliated to Charity No: 1058627, exists to:
- Find homes for dogs who have fallen on hard times.
- Raise funds for veterinary fees, kennelling, feeding, advertising with view to rehoming.
- Educate the public about the Staffordshire Bull Terrier.
We are always in need of kind, loving permanent homes and foster homes. Our dogs come in all age groups. Occasionally we do get dogs which have been abused but mostly our dogs come to us through the owners change of circumstance. Abused or otherwise the temperament of our dogs is wonderful.
The Staffordshire Bull Terrier is the victim of misunderstanding, they look tough, they are pictured in the press as aggressive and this has given them Status among bad owners. Nothing could be further from the truth. Staffies are a gentle loving breed especially with children (They are fondly known as the "Nanny Dog". Any member of Staffie Rescue will discuss with you the pros and cons of the breed. After all, we want you to have a happy life with a happy dog. If you feel you could save a staffie by fostering for us, or even better, by offering one of our staffie's a forever home, then please get in touch.
Due to the vast number of staffies looking for homes, and our Full Time work commitments, we would appreciate your patience. We will also advise on how you can help with rehoming your dog yourself.
