Dog looking for home

LOOKING FOR A HOME – Diesel

AGE: 2 years

SEX: Male

CAN LIVE WITH: Single person, Couple, Family with children, Cats (with careful introduction)

HOME REQUIREMENTS: A home where there is lots of patience and time to help Diesel to build his confidence. He would love a home with well trained children and/or a cat. He must be the only dog.

ABOUT ME: Diesel was born with a Cleft Palate but this has no impact on his life. At present he lives with four other dogs and appears to be getting picked on. Diesel has never been left alone so work is required to help him to settle. He will require some training. Diesel tends to bark at other dogs in the street however if he’s introduced to them carefully, they will become his friend. This will require work. Diesel is an adorable boy who just needs someone to give him a chance and be prepared to put in work and effort to help him build his confidence.

If you think you can help, please complete an application form here: https://staffierescuescotland.co.uk/adoption/

🚨We have a very exciting announcement to make…

We are delighted to share the news that we have appointed Stella the Staffie as the official ambassador for SSBTR! 🐾

Our new ambassador represents everything we as a charity stand for in that she is the perfect image of our mission: stamping out the stigma towards Staffies.

She encourages rescuing Staffies and unlocking their potential, she is passionate about educating people on how fantastic the breed is AND she herself is a rescue!

We look forward to working with Stella in spreading awareness of the SSBTR and our mission.

JustGiving Appeal to help with vet bills

We hate doing this but our vet bills this month have hit £3000 and we have more hefty ones coming our way.

We don’t want to close to intake because of the cost of vet bills but we are a small charity and we can’t afford to sustain this. If you can help, we’d really appreciate it.

Please do feel free to share. We’ve included one of the vet bills in the link. Thank you.
