DAY JOB: Senior Healthcare Support Worker for NHS
DOGS: Had 2 beautiful staffies both SSBTR rescues & various short term foster dogs. Now I’m foster mum to the exceptionally handsome Angus.
INTERESTS: Dogs, films, knitting, crafts.
HOW I BECAME INVOLVED: After adopting my first staffie (who was just meant to be a foster!!) I started to help with the admin of the website, then home checking, assessing dogs & fundraising.
PREVIOUS RESCUE EXPERIENCE: This is the first rescue I’ve been a volunteer for. I have been volunteering with the rescue for about 13yrs doing various bits & joined the committee in 2021
WHAT I BRING TO THE RESCUE: Me!!!
FUN FACT: When I first contacted the rescue I contacted them for a friend & to get more info but somehow ended up being home checked & fostering. I wasn’t actually that keen on staffies & now I feel I’m one of their biggest ambassadors.
